The Freddie Mac Primary Mortgage Market Survey® reports the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 5.72 percent for the week ending February 14. This is up from last week when it averaged 5.67 percent. Last year at this time, the 30-year fixed rate averaged 6.30 percent.
